A woman has died after being attacked by dogs inside a house.
At around 4.25pm today, Monday, October 3, North West Ambulance Service reported to police of a woman in her 60s being attacked by dogs inside a property on St Brigids Crescent in Vauxhall. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman's next of kin have been made aware. There is currently a major emergency service response at the scene including officers from Merseyside Police, firefighters from Merseyside Fire and Rescue and paramedics from North West Ambulance Service.

A cordon is in place from Vauxhall Road to as far as Alderney Road. Officers appear to be grouped around a side street of houses. Forensic officers are also at the scene.
Detective Inspector Gavin Mulcahy said: "We understand the shock that this incident will cause in the local community and beyond. Our officers are at the scene carrying out further enquiries so if you have any information please let us know."
