A woman has denied murdering a talented musician.
Adrian Swift, 57, was found dead at an address on Bishopgate Street in Wavertree on the morning of March 24 last year. Charges were subsequently brought against a woman and two men in connection with his death.
Cheryl O'Callaghan, of Stanton Crescent in Kirkby, appeared before Liverpool Crown Court this morning, Friday, charged with murder. The 46-year-old pleaded not guilty to this count and will now face a trial beginning on November 14.

Also to come before the jury on that date are Adam Oldland, of Princes Road, and Steven Hardaker, of Aigburth Drive. The 51-year-olds denied charges of assisting an offender during an earlier hearing.
They appeared in the dock today, but were released on conditional bail ahead of their trial. Known as Ade, Mr Swift's family paid tribute to him in the wake of his death.
They said in a statement: "We are in such a huge shock at the tragic loss of our much-loved brother and uncle. He will be sadly missed by his sister Rachel, family and friends.
"A talented musician gone too soon. Rest in peace Ade."
