A heavily-tattooed mum has claimed she's been banned from TikTok three times because people keep reporting her accounts over her extreme facial tattoos.
Missy Sloan said "haters" have forced her off of the video-sharing platform on multiple occasions, and claims that she just wants to "go about her business" online without having to deal with cruel comments on her content.
The woman said people often "attack" her on social media, and even though she doesn't respond to their comments, she has found herself banned from TikTok as a result.
She said: "Haters keep coming at me. They know who I am, and say I can’t get a job and all this - but I don't answer them back, I just go about my business like anyone else.
"People say – because of my tattoos – that I'm crazy and I can't get a job and they just keep on attacking me."
Missy told the Daily Star that the problems with her TikTok accounts first started when she tried to get help dealing with the large number of negative comments on her videos.
After trying to mass remove the comments, Missy found that her account "had a violation" attached to it and had been banned - and the same was true of her backup account.
She added: "I had this woman say I'll do you a mod to get rid of them quicker for you. But then the next time I looked I had a violation and I was banned.
"I had a backup account, and that was banned too – and the third one lasted less than 24 hours. I tried to appeal but they said you can't come back on."
But the mum, 46, has insisted she won't be deterred by her critics, and has vowed to try again with a fourth account.
Missy got her first tattoo over 20 years ago, and although she "loves" getting inked, she admitted her tattoo craze has "calmed down a bit" because she has a number of health conditions, adding that she doesn't know if the sheer quantity of ink in her skin could be related to her health.
She said: "I love tattoos. I love the pain. I have at least three layers on my face, and I get a least three a week if I can on my body. I've got my own room for tattoos … so when I feel like l need one just get the kit out."
However, it's not just social media that has had a problem with Missy's extreme ink in the past, as she's also been kicked out of cafes and pubs over her unique look.
"I've been chucked out of cafés and pubs so many times because of my tattoos," she shared, "I can't even get driving lessons because the driving instructors are afraid of me - no one will take me on."
The Daily Star approached TikTok for comment on Missy's accounts, and a spokesperson said: "We have Community Guidelines which outline the kind of content we do and do not allow on our platform - we would not remove content for 'no reason'."
