A woman claims a DPD delivery driver allegedly pushed a metal trolley into her legs causing huge bruises.
Aki Lee had ordered two large parcels containing furniture to her city centre flat on Tuesday, April 11. The 32-year-old said she and her husband met the DPD delivery driver outside and the parcels were taken to the lobby.
But she claims the delivery driver refused to deliver the "huge parcels" to her flat door. Aki added she was "confused" by this as when she shopped at IKEA, the company said the parcels can be delivered to a room of their choosing.

Speaking to the ECHO, Aki said: "I asked if we could at least borrow the metal trolley for us to push the parcels to our flat. He said that was not possible and said he has to leave the parcels at the lobby and not to the flat.
"I was a bit confused because when we shopped at the store it said the delivery could be sent to a room of our choice and I was quite angry because they were two super huge parcels. The furniture was not small everyday parcels where we would take it ourselves.
"I told him we would have to call the retailer and have my husband call DPD."
Aki said one of the parcels was inside the lobby and the other leaning on the door. She claims she blocked the one at the door with her body so the delivery driver could not take it back while she tried calling the store regarding the policy.
The 32-year-old said she believed the delivery driver was "in a rush" and claims he then pushed her and did so numerous time. Aki said in her anger she told the delivery driver to take the parcel back, but realised they needed it.
Aki said: "I was quite angry and I told him to take back the parcel. But then my husband said we need to use the parcel today, so I went out and stopped him and said 'we need the parcel but I really need to call DPD and before I get through to anybody he cannot leave'."
The 32-year-old said the delivery driver's metal trolley was on the floor at this point and claims she didn't realise her legs were in between the metal bar. She claims the delivery driver then hit her legs numerous times with the trolley.
She added: "It was not my intention to have my legs in between the bar and I didn't realise until what he had done later on. I just pushed the parcel onto the floor, preventing him to take back the parcel as my husband called DPD.
"While my husband was looking for the number to call DPD he suddenly took the metal trolley above the ground and hit it against my leg."
Photos shared with the ECHO shows huge bruises on Aki's legs which she described as "very painful". She added she was "very upset" following the alleged incident.
She said: "I felt his actions were very intrusive and that's why I wanted to let him go but we really needed that parcel and that's why I came out and told him to wait for us." A spokesperson for DPD said they were not aware of these allegations and cannot verify the claims. They added they are waiting to carry out a full investigation after interviewing the driver in question.
In a statement a spokesperson for the company said: "We were not previously made aware of these allegations, dating back to April 11. We therefore cannot verify the allegations currently as we are waiting to interview the driver and carry out a full investigation."
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said they did receive a report of an alleged assault.
The said: "We can confirm we received a report of an assault in Liverpool City Centre on Tuesday, April 11. At around 2.45pm, it was reported that a woman had been pushed by a man earlier that afternoon and she had sustained a leg injury.
"Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident. If you have any information, DM @MerPolCC or @CrimestoppersUK on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 23000306553."
