A Polish woman, who claims to be Madeleine McCann, has reportedly submitted DNA samples that she is the three-year-old girl who disappeared in Portugal in 2007.
Julia Wendell, 21, flew across the pond to California after she received death threats in her home country.
The 21-year-old went viral in on social media after she posted 'evidence' on social media, reports the Star. Julia now says she is at a safehouse in the US alongside a private detective and self-professed medium Dr Fia Johansson, who are probing her claims.

Julia's family in Poland have denied her claims, with the parents blocking her number and refusing to take DNA tests, writes the Star.
The private detective claims to have travelled Wroclaw, where Julia allegedly grew up, and said that they have found no hospital records relating to the first five years of her life.
Speaking to RadarOnline, Dr Johansson said Julia has now submitted three samples for forensic analysis as well as a genetic test to establish her ancestry.
"If the results come back that she’s British or from that area then we are going to continue our investigation into Madeleine McCann and communicate with the detectives in Portugal," Dr Johansson told the publication. "We have a lot of evidence right now that shows Julia was definitely trafficked to Poland."
Julia claims that she doesn't remember large portions of her childhood and says he was never treated like part of the family. The 21-year-old also claims she was abused by a German paedophile who resembled a one-time suspect in Madeleine's disappearance.
She supposedly found a family photo of that man in an older relative's house.
