Julia Wendell, a 21-year-old Polish woman who claims she is Madeleine McCann, has shared a message to the missing British girl’s parents Kate and Gerry McCann explaining that she “really” believes she is their daughter.
Wendell has been sparking a storm across the internet recently after she shared what she said was evidence to suggest she might be Madeleine, even recently recording her first high-profile US interview with Dr Phil.
Throughout the last few weeks, she has been appearing on private investigator and self-professed medium Dr Fia Johansson’s Instagram account to share updates on her claim after her own accounts were either removed or deleted.

In the most recent update in this case, Wendell has shared a message to Madeleine’s parents in an interview with Radar Online, explaining that she really believes that she is their daughter.
“I want to say something to Kate McCann: I listened to a song that you sang to your daughter Madeleine,” she said in the interview with the publication.
“When I hear your voice, from movies, from interviews, I feel like I really know this voice, your voice."
She continued: "I want to say that I really believe I can be Madeleine, your daughter."
However, she also dropped another bombshell during the interview, saying that if she is not the missing girl, then she believes that she may have also been abused by the same person who kidnapped Madeleine.
She added: “But if I’m not then I’m over 100% sure that the person who abused me is involved. If I’m not Madeleine McCann, I know that I can open this case again.
"I tried to talk to many authorities back in 2022. I talked with the embassy in Poland, Portugal, and England. Interpol, Polish police, and Portuguese police and no one listened to me.
"Even if I’m not, I want us to help by exposing my abuser. I’m over 100% sure, the drawing on FindMadeline.com, is the face of my abuser. I know this person. And I hope that we will know the truth and I’m sure we will know soon so thank you, if you are watching this."
However, the young woman has allegedly been threatened with legal action by the man she claims abused her as a child.
