A 24-year-old woman has been charged with the murder, rape and torture of a schoolgirl in Paris. Lola Daviet's mutilated body was found in a suitcase just a few streets away from her home in the city's 19th arrondissement.
Dahbia B, a homeless woman from Algeria, was brought before examining magistrates on Monday and indicted in connection with the 12-year-old's brutal killing. Chilling CCTV footage from last Friday shows the Lola entering the apartment building where she lived just behind her alleged murderer.
The youngster's parents Delphine and Johan Daviet reported her missing on Friday at roughly 4pm after fearing she had been abducted when she never returned home from school - which is just around the corner from their flat. As reported by the Mirror, her mother said: "Lola knows that on Fridays you go straight home because we go to Béthune, the family village, a three-hour drive north of Paris."
