A woman has been charged with death by dangerous driving.
Nasrin Saleh, 26, of Colville Street, Liverpool, appeared at Liverpool Magistrates court on Friday. She was charged with one count of causing death by dangerous driving and one count of causing death by driving a vehicle where the driver is unlicensed or uninsured.
It is alleged that on October 10, 2021, Saleh caused the death of Luqman Mehboob by driving a Volkswagen Golf dangerously on East Prescot Road, Liverpool. Saleh also allegedly had no car insurance.
She will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on March 17.
