A WOMAN has been charged following a crash on the M8 in Glasgow that left two people in hospital.
Emergency services were called to a report of a single-vehicle crash at the M8 junction near the Clydeside Expressway and Anderston Cross after 10.30am on Wednesday.
The Scottish Ambulance Service attended the scene and two people were transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Police confirmed that a woman has been charged in connection with a road traffic offence and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 10.35am to attend an incident on Argyle Street, Glasgow.
“We dispatched an ambulance and a paramedic response unit (PRU) to the scene.
“We transported two patients to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
