Woman captures creepy man taking pictures of her as she sunbathes on the beach

A woman busted a perv who was taking photos of her while she sunbathed as she issued a warning to other women.

Ruby Dow, 21, was soaking up the sun on the Gold Coast of Australia when she noticed something wasn't quite right.

She discovered a stranger was secretly snapping photos of her just yards away from where she was lying.

Furious Ruby claims the man had pulled out his phone and started taking images for almost 10 minutes.

Standing up, he was pretended to take photos of the water, the Melbourne woman says - but it wasn't the end of the story.

Getting her own back, she then whipped out her mobile and started filming him.

He soon discovered it was game over and legged it, but his nightmare was only just beginning.

She uploaded the incident to TikTok and shamed the weirdo - and her terrible experience went viral.

"I didn't pull out my camera until I realised what he was doing...the second I did he turned around and left," she explained in the comments.

“My intention of posting this incident was solely to remind other women to not take their safety for granted, especially when venturing out alone."

Her followers were quick to praise her for her quick thinking - while slamming the sneaky snapper.

Worryingly, many say they have also experience strangers taking photos of them in public.

One told her: "I had one old buzzard hounding me the last time I went solo it's so s*** you can't sit at the beach and just enjoy it."

Another said: “I hate that this happened! Some people just need to keep to themselves."

“Oh babe I'm so sorry this happened to you! This has happened to me before so I know exactly how scary it feels," a third told her.

Someone else added: "Yes always be aware, someone was in the bushes at the beach taking photos of my mum."
