Woman bottled and man suffers broken nose in taxi dispute on Gloucester Road

A woman suffered concussion after she was hit on the head with a bottle and a man suffered a broken nose when a group of men attacked them following a dispute over a taxi in Bristol.

The couple both required hospital treatment for what police described as serious injuries, and now detectives are appealing for help to find the group of violent yobs who carried out the attack.

The incident happened late last Saturday night. At around 1.20am in the early hours of the morning of Sunday, March 19, a 20-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man became involved in a dispute over a taxi near the junction of Zetland Road and Gloucester Road in Redland/Montpelier.
