An Airbnb in St. Louis just proved why clichés about deals that seem too good to be true exist in the first place. A self-professed “goth girl” on TikTok said she booked an 11-bedroom house for just $30 a night, but after discovering books about murder in the living room, an unsettling layout, and a completely locked room that she and her friend jokingly dubbed the “murder room,” she decided she’d seen enough.
The story was posted by a TikTok account with the username @anelaonalani, and she explained that she usually embraces all things creepy. This time, however, the red flags she encountered felt a little too close for comfort. She ended up spending only about 20 minutes inside before relocating to a hotel.
