Woman blasts gas cylinders left in Nottingham alleyway as 'safety hazard'

A woman has hit out as gas cylinders were left in an alleyway near her house over Easter weekend. The cylinders appear to have been dumped in the alleyway off Middleton Street in Radford, Nottingham, on Easter Sunday, April 17.

Ewa Sosnowska, who lives nearby, says she was horrified to make the discovery while out on a walk over the Bank Holiday weekend. She says despite reporting it to Nottingham City Council straight away, the cylinders were still there two days later on Tuesday, April 19.

Ms Sosnowska believes the issue should have been dealt with immediately but instead is not being taken seriously enough. She says this is not an isolated incident - with other items also being dumped in the same spot over the years.
