A woman who was bitten by a dog needed emergency surgery after going out leaflet dropping in her local area. Sharon Connor was shocked as she retrieved her hand from a letterbox to find it covered in blood.
The woman, who was rushed to a local hospital to have plastic surgery done on her injuries, was campaigning for local election when she dropped a leaflet through a letterbox and her hand was bitten by a dog, reports the Liverpool Echo.
