A woman has been banned from a town centre and entering some of the local shops after bringing 'misery to residents and businesses' in the area.
Lauren Wilson, 26, has been ordered to adhere to a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) for the next three years, banning her from entering parts of Macclesfield town centre. Anyone who spots her breaking these terms is asked to inform police.
She was handed the order at Crewe Magistrates' Court on April 19, meaning she is forbidden from entering the Tesco Superstore on Hibel Road, Co-op on Hurdsfield Road or the McColls on Hurdsfield Green.

Wilson, of no fixed abode but from Macclesfield, can now only enter the town centre if it is for any pre-arranged appointments or could be fined or return to prison.
Sergeant Matt Bassirat, of Cheshire Police said: “This is a great result for Macclesfield as we have hindered another prolific offender from continuing to bring misery to residents and businesses in the town. The time spent by officers dealing with such prolific offenders takes officers away from those who need our service most.
“I’d like to thank the courts for issuing this order and hope that this shows our residents that we will continue to use all the powers available to us to ensure that we make Macclesfield even safer.
“Wilson will be under the CBO until 19 April 2026 and if she fails to comply with any of the conditions, she could be imprisoned for up to five years.”
Anyone who encounters Wilson breaching any of the above restrictions is urged to contact Cheshire Police at https://www.cheshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/soh/seen-or-heard/ or call 101, to report it.
