A woman has been banned from Liverpool city centre after assaulting a security guard.
Maxine Hunter, of Lester Close, Everton, was stopped by security guards in Williamson Square on January 22 who found several items from different stores in her bag. The woman became aggressive while being detained and assaulted one of the security staff.
She was charged with theft from a shop and assault. She pleaded guilty to both offences.
