Getting your haircut can be a stressful ordeal. Even the most skilled hairdressers don't always give customers the results they want, meaning clients are often wary to try out a new style. Luckily, one woman whose haircut didn't turn out quite like she was expecting has been able to see the funny side of things, after realising she looks like a Lord of the Rings character.
Annie McElvein was shocked when she glanced in the mirror after washing her new hair - and spotted a stark resemblance to Frodo Baggins. While the 25-year-old loves the film character she did not anticipate looking like the hobbit when she asked her hairdresser for "bangs".
