A woman who was stabbed nine times by her former partner has described the physical and emotional impact the attack had on her and her daughter. Liam Davis, of Hartcliffe, has been jailed for 17 years after repeatedly stabbing 25-year-old Jodie.
Davis, 26, used four different kitchen knives in the brutal attack following an argument at Jodie's home in the Southmead area of Bristol in April. Addressing him in a statement read out at Bristol Crown Court during the sentencing hearing today, she asked why he’d never provided an explanation for the attack.
