A woman has been arrested on suspicion of money laundering in connection with a dog attack that killed a dad of five.
Jonathan Hogg, 37, suffered fatal injuries when he was attacked by the animal - believed to be an XL bully type - at a property in Leigh on Thursday (May 18). He was taken to hospital, but his death was confirmed at around 2am on Friday (May 19).
The dog was later shot dead by armed police. Today (May 20) police said a 22-year-old woman had been arrested on suspicion of money laundering, reports the M.E.N.

It follows the arrest of a 24-year-old man on suspicion of being in charge of a dangerously out of control dog causing injury resulting in death. Both suspects have been bailed pending further enquiries.
Six adult dogs and nine puppies have also been seized after two houses were searched as part of the investigation, while £37,000 of "items believed to be the result of criminal proceeds" has also been confiscated.
Det Chief Insp John Davies said: "Our investigations into this violent attack are moving at a pace, as our officers work relentlessly to understand the events that led to Jonathan’s death.
"GMP officers searched two houses and seized 15 dogs believed to be the same breed as that which attacked Jonathan. These dogs are now being cared for at a specialist facility.
"Items totalling a value of £37,500 believed to be the result of criminal proceeds have been seized. Dangerous dogs do not have a place in our communities, and we want to reassure the public that we are doing everything in our power to keep people safe."
Mr Hogg, a mechanic from Hindley in Wigan, was known by friends and family as 'Oggy'. He was the father of three boys aged 16, 11, and four-months-old and two girls aged three and one.
Last night his heartbroken older brother Ian Hogg told the M.E.N: "He was my little brother and I loved him to bits. He was one in a million - he'd do anything for anybody.
"He was bubbly and loud - the loudest person you ever met. His kids are in bits. I don't know what we're going to do.
"I was in the hospital from 11pm to 5am. It was just horrific, I can't get it out of my head, but the doctors and nurses did everything they could. They were amazing."
Armed police rushed to the property on Westleigh Lane at about 9.10pm on Thursday. The dog was forced into a cabin in a yard at the rear of the property and shot dead.
Mr Hogg had suffered serious injuries believed to be caused by a dog which was 'dangerously out of control', according to GMP. He was taken to Hope Hospital in Salford but died during the early hours.
The force said in a statement: "GMP armed officers were deployed to attempt to control the dog and officers reviewed and actioned every available tactic to subdue the dog and bring it to safety. Due to the significant risk the dog posed to the members of the public, the dog was humanely destroyed."
