Woman arrested after 'corrosive substance' thrown at man in south Manchester

Manchester Police

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of throwing a 'corrosive substance' at a man in south Manchester.

Police were initially called to reports of an acid attack on Wilbraham Road on Saturday afternoon.

But following enquiries it is now no longer believed the liquid thrown was acid.
