A Texas woman and her dog were dragged down the street by a robber's car after her pocketbook was stolen.
In a post from the Houston Police Robbery Twitter account, a woman, who has not been named, was strolling along a Houston street with her Dalmatian when a gunman approached and demanded she hand over her handbag last month.
She was seen being pue male pulled by the male suspect's car after she had her bag stolen and tried to climb into the rear to get it back, while holding on to her dog's leash.
The man was later detained in the car park of a Valero gas station.

Video caught the moment that she crossed the sidewalk, and the suspect appeared behind her a few moments later.
As the suspect threatened her with a gun, she began to scream, "Oh my God!"
The guy then snatches her purse and flees, with the woman and her dog trailing behind him in a quest to retrieve her stolen property.

The woman opens the rear passenger door, and the suspect dashes back into his vehicle.
Afterwards, the car merges onto the main road and proceeds down the street, pulling the woman and her dog several feet behind it.
The suspect continued to drive away after the woman, and her dog were flung from the vehicle.
Witnesses then assisted the woman and her dog while waiting for emergency personnel to arrive.
“They could’ve been killed. That person didn’t care about her at all,” said Cindy Funderburke, a local witness, in conversation with KHOU11 about the incident.
The gun-wielding robbery suspect has yet to be identified by the Houston Police Department.
The police department described him as a slim Hispanic male wearing a multicolored jacket and black jeans.
The department encourages anyone information on the incident, or the suspect can contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477 (TIPS). A cash reward of up to $5,000 may also be distributed.
