Woman and daughter, 2, die of injuries after Munich car attack

A 37-year-old woman and her two-year-old daughter have died of injuries sustained during a car attack in Munich on Thursday, German police have said.

At least 39 people were injured, some of them critically, when a car ploughed into trade union activists demonstrating for higher pay in the city.
