A woman says she wasn't happy at all after checking her home CCTV, only to see that the tradesperson she'd hired had been inviting people over while she was out. The electrician, who quoted her a day rate of eight days' work, is now halfway through the job, and she's wondering whether or not she should confront him.
CCTV footage shows a tall, blonde woman entering through the back gate and leaving some four hours later. The same thing happened the following day. The disgruntled homeowner knows the woman doesn't work for him as he is a sole trader who works alone. Furthermore, the footage shows her wearing a "willowy pleated skirt", not a uniform.
She now feels so uncomfortable about the situation that she's wondering whether she should just ask him to hand over his key and get somebody else in to finish the job.

Taking to Mumsnet, where she goes by the username IvyPlant, the baffled woman wrote: "At present, the tradesperson gets here at about 8 am and has already stopped working by 3 pm. So that's seven hours of work, fair enough, but four (and three) of them an unknown woman here is (it's not his wife, I did a little social media digging and it's not her).
"Am I being unreasonable if I question him about it next week? He still has four days left to finish the job next week and I don't l like the fact there's an unknown and uninvited person in my house when I'm not there, plus, how much work can he really be doing if his 'mate' is there for four hours?"
A number of fellow Mumsnet users shared her concern, and many jumped to the same conclusion about the worker and his unexpected visitor.
One person commented: "Maybe it’s his side bit and he’s having sex with her while you’re out. It happens. A friend of mine was meeting with a tradesman and in the evening they would go to the house he was working on as it was empty and he had a set of keys."
Another admitted: "A few years ago I was going out with an electrician and we used to have sex where he was working because we both lived at home with our parents. All his other mates in trade did it too. Makes me cringe now but was exciting at the time. If that's not what's happening I'll be very shocked."
