A woman has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Wrexham.
North Wales Police said they were called to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car on Rivulet Road at 8.13am on Wednesday (February 2).
The female pedestrian was airlifted to hospital in Stoke by the Air Ambulance with injuries which are described as life threatening.
Sergeant Jason Diamond of the Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses saying: “The collision involved a distinctive green coloured Vauxhall Corsa, which has a full body kit, so I am appealing to anybody who may have seen this vehicle being driver prior to the collision to contact us.
“I’m also appealing to anybody who may have dash cam footage to come forward.
“The road remains closed at this time and we’d like to thank the motoring public and the local community for their patience.”
Anybody with information or dash cam footage that would help with the investigation is urged to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit via the live web chat or by calling 101, quoting reference number B015153.
