A woman has been accused of trafficking meth and holding more than $4000 in cash from drug sales after a late-night raid by police.
Jessica Skye Monaghan, 34, allegedly had bags of meth and bundles of notes in her handbag when searched by police.
But she didn't live at the home her bag was found, a lawyer said.
Monaghan did not enter pleas to charges of trafficking in a controlled substance, possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of crime, and contravening an order made by a magistrate.
She allegedly refused to unlock her phone for police, saying "I guess I'm refusing to provide it" when asked for her co-operation.
On Thursday, an Aboriginal Legal Service lawyer argued Monaghan did not live at the home in question and hadn't been aware of the suspected criminal activities.
But magistrate Robert Cook said that if the alleged criminal property did not belong to Monaghan, she "needn't have had any fear of police".
He refused bail, citing concerns with the 34-year-old's compliance with court orders.
"[The charges] would be an escalation of behaviour," he said.
Police searched the Scullin in the early hours of Thursday morning, as part of a broader investigation into suspected drug trafficking.
Officers allegedly found a blue Marcs handbag belonging to Monaghan that contained about 100 grams of a clear substance, suspected to be methamphetamine.
More than $4000 in cash was found in Monaghan's wallet.
Her defence lawyer said she "was stressed in the circumstances", referring to blocking police from her phone.
A large number of mobile phones were found in the home, as well as a prohibited firearm, a lot of prescription drugs and suspected stolen property.
The defence lawyer argued Monaghan's last offending was six years ago and she had never been to jail.
The prosecutor told the court Monaghan was said to be linked with other syndicates, and that investigations into the suspected drug trafficking were ongoing.
She said the magistrate could not have confidence the 34-year-old would comply with bail, given she had breached her conditions 12 times between 2018 and 2022.
Monaghan is set to appear before court again next month.
