Emergency services scrambled to the scene where they discovered the woman injured, but despite the best efforts of medics she died.

This follows the tragic deaths of three other women over the festive period.
Rachael Louise Moore was struck by a marked police car around 8.10pm on Christmas Eve in Liverpool.
Her family paid tribute to the 'cherished daughter' after she died in the tragic incident.
The family said: "Rachael Louise Moore aged 22, cherished daughter of Alison and Ian, sister to Ben and much loved granddaughter of Nana Sue.
"Partner to Jack and caring friend to many.
"She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
"The family requests their privacy be respected at this devastating time."
Rachael’s death was shortly preceded by the death of mum-of-three Heather Smedley, 53, who was hit by an unmarked police vehicle that was involved in a pursuit in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Heather was hit by a police car during what police called a "short pursuit" of a separate vehicle, suspected of being stolen, on December 23.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct confirmed an unmarked police car and a "car driven by a member of the public" crashed and Heather suffered "serious injuries ... and died in hospital later this morning".
The crash has been reported to the force's Professional Standards Branch and the IOPC, who confirmed Heather was not in the vehicle police were pursuing.
The IOPC said their investigation will "examine the circumstances leading up to the collision and whether police actions were in accordance with policies and procedures.”
Following both of those, a fourth woman died in a Christmas day crash that involved a car police had tried to stop just moments earlier.
The crash took place shortly after 3.45am in Edgware, London and police said officers had indicated for the car to stop but it drove off - they added there was no chase.
Then, just a short time later, it was involved in a crash with another car and a lamppost.
A 22-year-old woman in the second car was treated at the scene but medics were unable to save her life.
Two bodies were recovered from a river in Swansea on Christmas day morning, after a car ended up in the water.
The car was found in the River Tawe in the early hours of Christmas morning.
Emergency services arrived on the scene at New Cut Road in Swansea just after 3am following reports of a car in the river and the vehicle was found fully submerged in the water.
The bodies of man and a woman were found, who are yet to be identified, South Wales Police have said.
As well as this, a toddler has been seriously hurt and a man is fighting for his life following a three-car smash on Christmas Day, in Gwent, Wales.
While a 29-year-old man fights for his life, a three-year-old girl was also seriously injured.
