Sarah Hill, who posts on TikTok under the username @sarahhill920, is a 40-year-old content creator who posts anti-ageing tips. Her recent focus has been on haircare, and she's left beauty fans baffled with three clever hacks to maintain healthy, youthful tresses without having to invest in expensive products.
To help people maintain their luscious locks, Sarah warned of a major error that starts in the shower - before you've even added any shampoo to your hair.
First, she warned about having no shower head filter, referring to it as 'key' due to the 'magnesium calcium in the water that can wreak havoc on your hair'.
Sarah said: "Hard water is more damaging to your hair than bleach, so get a shower head filter."
She also warned people against going to bed 'with wet hair', saying: "I know that it's hard, especially if you shower at night, and you want to just lay down in bed, but friction on your pillow and your sheets and all the things is going to cause your hair to break and snap. Wet hair is way more fragile and way more prone to breaking and snapping than dry hair."
Thirdly, she suggested scalp massages being great for your hair, saying you need to use a 'good hair oil, weekly', but recommending massaging your scalp at least once a day because it's 'really good for growth'.
