A 29-year-old woman has been convicted of murder following the death of Darren Russell in Erskine on New Year’s Day, 2021.

Stephanie Bowie was found guilty of murder, possession of a bladed article and an attempt to defeat the ends of justice at the High Court in Glasgow earlier today.

Darren Russell, 21, died on the doorstep of his family home in Erskine after earlier being attacked by Bowie.
