A British woman aged 28 has died while undergoing gastric band surgery in Turkey, with her grieving boyfriend paying tribute to an 'angel', it was revealed today.
Shannon Bowe, from Denny, near Falkirk in Scotland, tragically passed away during the procedure on Saturday, April 1. The Foreign Office said it was supporting her family.
Friends said today they were 'devastated' with many sharing their memories of Shannon in picture tributes and touching statements posted on social media.
