Woman, 28, dies after travelling to Turkey for gastric band surgery as friends pay tribute

A woman from the UK has passed away while undergoing gastric band surgery in Turkey.

Shannon Bowe, 28, who lived in Denny, near Falkirk, Scotland, tragically died during the surgery on Saturday, April 1, The Mirror reported.

Friends have said they are “devastated” with many sharing warm memories of Shannon in online tributes.
