A woman is fighting for life in hospital after being hit by a van in Seaforth.
The 26-year-old suffered serious injuries after being involved in a crash with a Renault Kangoo van on Friday, December 9. The crash took place at around 7.45am and the woman was taken to hospital by paramedics where she remains in a critical condition.
Police launched an investigation into the crash and are appealing for witnesses. The driver stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.

Detective Sergeant Kurt Timpson from the Matrix Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "Our thoughts are with the family of the injured woman who remains in a critical condition in hospital, and they are being supported by specially trained Family Liaison Officers.
"I have launched an investigation into the circumstances of this collision and appeal to anyone who witnessed any part of it, to please get in touch and help us. It may be that your evidence however small, may help us to piece together how this happened.
"I would also like anyone with CCTV or dashcam that may help to contact us.
