A woman has been killed in a skydiving accident after a body was discovered on a farmer's land.
Police and paramedics were called to Langar Airfield, Nottinghamshire, at 12.13pm on Sunday, July 5.
There, they found the body of a 22-year-old woman, who was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman's relatives have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
No other people were reported to have been injured and a file is currently being prepared for the coroner.
Detective Inspector Rachel Mayfield, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This was a tragic incident, and we are working with partners to understand what happened.
"As our investigations continue at the scene, our thoughts are with the woman's family and everyone else who has been affected by this incident."
