A teenage girl and a young man were killed in a horrific road smash involving a car and a truck.
The shocking crash took place near Ashford, Kent, yesterday around 5pm.
The pair had been driving in a white Vauxhall Corsa past the leafy village of Woodchurch when they were involved in the collision with a large DAF truck at a junction.
Emergency services raced to the crash but both the woman and man were confirmed to have died at the scene.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
Kent Police said: “Officers are appealing for information following a fatal collision near Ashford.
“A white Vauxhall Corsa which was travelling west on Plurenden Road in Woodchurch, was involved in a collision at the junction of Bethersden Road with a white DAF truck.
“The occupants of the car, an 18-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man, were both confirmed deceased at the scene.
“The collision took place at around 5pm on Monday 5 June 2023.
“The Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage that may assist to come forward.”
