Wolverhampton Wanderers have written to Howard Webb following their controversial disallowed goal during their 2-2 with Liverpool in the FA Cup.
Julen Lopetegui's side thought they had snatched a late winner when defender Toti Gomes was on hand to scramble Matheus Nunes' low-driven cross beyond Alisson Becker and Trent Alexander-Arnold and into the back of the net.
However, an immediate flag from the linesman on the far side of the Anfield turf meant the goal was chalked off. Wolves will now need to overcome Jurgen Klopp's side in a replay later this month to advance to the fourth round.

After the match, it was later revealed that the Video Assistant Referee had not been able to overturn the decision due to a lack of cameras at Anfield, with 17 in place rather than the normal 30 for a Premier League fixture broadcast on Sky.
According to the Daily Mail, such a revelation has led to Molineux officials now writing to Webb, who is the chief referee at the PGMOL, the governing body accountable for officials in England, after succeeding the long-serving Mike Riley earlier this month.
Following the 2-2 draw at Anfield, where both Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah netted for the Reds, Klopp admitted his surprise at Gomes' effort not counting after Nunes appeared to uptake an offside position following a corner kick.
"I'm not sure about their third goal," said the Reds boss. "We have one picture where it may look offside, but I can understand why they are angry about it. We don't want the VAR to just have one angle."
Liverpool will now travel to the West Midlands next week, with the winning facing Premier League counterparts Brighton and Hove Albion in round four.
