Wolves are seeking legal action after Arsenal completed the signing of Marquinhos from Sao Paulo.
The Gunners have agreed a £3m transfer with the Brazilian outfit after the north Londoners exploited a loophole in his contract. However fellow Premier League side Wolves thought they had a move for Marquinhos in the bag with an immediate loan switch to feeder club Grasshoppers in the pipeline.
Arsenal 's move for the teenager means the Molineux side are considering their options with Yahoo Sports in Brazil claiming Wolves had agreed a pre-contract agreement with Marquinhos. Wolves have approached a legal firm in Brazil to take action against the player for allegedly breaking the deal to join the Gunners. As first reported by the Daily Mail, legal action against Arsenal and Sao Paulo are their other options. Mirror Football understands that Marquinhos' contract was due to end on July 12, with his pre-agreed contract at Wolves then set to start on July 14.
