The Midlands is the most entrepreneurial region of the UK – as Wolverhampton and Mansfield have been named the city and town with the most small businesses launched in the last year, according to data.
Annual data from ONS has revealed the top towns and cities in the UK that have the most small businesses – with up to 49 employees – per head.
And SME insurance provider, Superscript, compared the 2022 figures to the same data for 2021 – and generated a “small business per capita” score using nationwide population data.
