It’s a funny old game. As a pairing over the first two days of the 20th Solheim Cup, Lottie Woad and Charley Hull couldn’t buy a full point even if they were being sold off in the official merchandise tent.

As individuals in the deciding singles yesterday, though, they helped drive Europe to glory against the USA at boisterous Bernardus in the Netherlands.
