WNBA player Cameron Brink recently underwent ACL surgery and shared updates on her recovery journey on Instagram. Despite speculation from fans about her appearance post-surgery, Brink clarified that she did not wear makeup during the procedure. Photos and videos showed her in a hospital gown and hair net, with her face mostly covered by a surgical mask. Some fans noticed her long eyelashes and rosy lips, leading to assumptions about makeup application.

Brink addressed the makeup rumors on her Instagram Story, emphasizing her natural look and attributing her bright eyes to eyelash extensions. The red color on her lips was explained as a result of drinking cranberry juice post-surgery. Additionally, she shared a humorous video of her post-anesthesia state, expressing her relaxed demeanor and excitement to watch 'Love Island' during her recovery.

The surgery followed Brink's ACL tear in June, which prematurely ended her season with the Los Angeles Sparks. Despite the setback, she remains optimistic and determined to return to basketball. Brink expressed gratitude for the support and well wishes from fans, acknowledging the challenges ahead but affirming her commitment to the sport.

Selected as the second pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, Brink's journey to recovery has garnered attention and encouragement from fellow athletes. She celebrated the draft with fellow rookie Caitlin Clark, highlighting the camaraderie and resilience within the basketball community.
