NEW DELHI: The assembly election in Gujarat is likely to be held in a couple of months. While the ruling BJP and a newcomer Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal have already started campaigning, the main opposition Congress party is nowhere to be seen on the ground.
In the previous Gujarat assembly election, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had launched the party’s campaign on September 25, 2017 from the temple town of Dwarka. He kicked off his three-day 'Navsarjan yatra' by seeking the blessings of Lord Krishna at the Dwarkadhish temple.
