NEW DELHI: The Congress has come down heavily on its rival BJP after the deadlock over the Karnataka chief minister’s (CM) was broken on Thursday and the leadership decided to appoint Siddaramaiah on the top post with state president DK Shivakumar being his deputy.
Shortly after Congress general secretary in-charge of organisation KC Venugopal announced in a press conference in Delhi on the power-sharing arrangement between Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar, party general secretary in-charge of communications Jairam Ramesh took on the BJP for some of its leaders criticising the delay in deciding the name of Karnataka CM.
