The San Francisco 49ers have to feel as if their quarterback position is jinxed.
First, Trey Lance was lost for the season. Then, Sunday Jimmy Garoppolo was injured against the Miami Dolphins.

Suddenly, Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy became quite relevant to the NFC West team.
The former Iowa State QB came on and threw a TD pass to Kyle Juszczyk.
The game was knotted at 10-10 in the second quarter, which had to have 49ers fans hopeful that the rookie could keep them in the contest.
