A Wishaw school has unveiled its Dux and Proxime Accessit for the coming year.
Coltness High announced that this year’s Dux is Kyle Duguid and the PA is Dylan King.
Both Kyle and Dylan are look forward to celebrating their success at the school’s annual awards ceremony on September 21.
Kyle told Lanarkshire Live : “I tried my hardest and got a lot of support from my teachers and my peers. I am excited about the next stage of my education to study Sports Science at university.”
The school was also delighted to announce 15 pupils who managed to get straight As in their results this year.
Coltness High headteacher John McGilp added: “It is a great achievement for these young people to achieve straight As in their exams, their hard work and diligence have been rewarded accordingly.
“Although these individuals grab the headlines, I am thoroughly proud of how all our young people have done this year in particular with the background of COVID over the past two years thoroughly disrupting their educational pathways.”
