An autistic boy who tried to save his grandad’s life after sudden heart failure was given a bravery award by his own family.

Eight-year-old Jake, from Wishaw, found his beloved grandad Tony McKenzie slumped on a couch in the living room on October 23.

The 47-year-old Lidl manager had been well earlier in the morning when his wife Margaret left for work.
