Former Miami quarterback Tyler Van Dyke announced Tuesday on social media that he is transferring to Wisconsin for the next chapter of his college football career.
Van Dyke, who entered the transfer portal on Nov. 27, posted a picture of himself on X (formerly known as Twitter) wearing a Badgers’ uniform that included the word “committed” in the background. The junior signal-caller spent four seasons at Miami and made his starting debut in 2021 when D’Eriq King suffered an injury.
The 6’4” Van Dyke played in 32 games and threw for 7,478 yards, 54 touchdowns and 23 interceptions while completing 63.7% of his passes in his Hurricanes’ career. In the ’23 campaign, Van Dyke registered 2,703 passing yards, 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 11 games.
