Wisconsin fire: At least seven dead after huge blaze breaks out in apartment building

Wisconsin Police

Seven people have died after a tragic fire erupted at an apartment building.

Police have said it is currently unclear how the blaze started, but they have launched an investigation into the matter and that it is a criminal probe.

The fire occurred around 5am local time in Mansfield Court in Hartland, Wisconsin, roughly 26 miles from Milwaukee. One neighbour told WTMJ-TV she heard a "loud boom" around the time of the fire.
