Wisconsin farmer turns vintage trailer into Airbnb; income beats livestock sales

A vintage Airstream trailer parked on a Wisconsin pasture may not sound like a financial lifeline, at least not six years ago. But it is now for Brit Thompson, 33, who runs Pink River Ranch in Wisconsin. She converted her vintage Airstream trailer into an Airbnb, and most of her guests are Chicago-area professionals looking for countryside experiences.
