The ECHO has taken a look at some of the properties on the Wirral opening their doors for golf fans this summer.
The Open Championship is set to take place at The Royal Liverpool Golf Club in Hoylake from July 20 to 23 and home owners in the vicinity of the course are opening their doors for upwards of £7,500.
The most expensive property available to rent through website Accommodation for the Event is Pendragon House in Meols, which was built in 1906 and was once run as a bed and breakfast. It sleeps more than 17 people and is available for £38,000 for up to ten days around the event.

Brian Higgins is chief executive of Accommodation for the Event and said renting out homes for events like The Open is a growing trend.
Brian said: "Results from surveys we've done in the past all suggest The Open attendees would rather rent a house to fully expose themselves to local culture and immerse themselves in the community."
On Egerton Park in Birkenhead, the owner of a huge Victorian home is welcoming keen golf fans starting at £20,000 for a week. The property has six bedrooms and sleeps up to 18 people. If you fancied extending your stay on the peninsula, 14 days at the home will set you back £30,000.
The owner of one huge home in Oxton is also charging £28,000 for a stay. The four-bedroom property is described as "opulent and substantial" and the package also includes a chauffer service.
However, it's not just sprawling mansions available for The Open attendees. Some properties available to rent are ordinary family homes, including one semi-detached property within walking distance of the course for £7,500.
Brian added: "We're very grateful to help family living close to The Open every year. Being a family person myself, the high income people can make renting out their home can make a wonderful difference.
"The Open can generate a massive income for local economies and generate income directly to local families living nearby. Especially families who are struggling, it's a nice privilege to be able to do that."
Victors can also rent out a whole guesthouse for nine nights for £20,000. Wyngate Guest House is 1.6 miles away from The Royal Liverpool Golf Club and is offering "homely" accommodation with breakfast for an extra charge.
The Open Championship is the oldest golf tournament in the world and started in 1860. It was first hosted at The Royal Liverpool Golf Club in the 1890s.
