The setting of the new series is said to be bigger and better than any before. Set in the Franschhoek wine valley in South Africa, contestants will be treated to an all expenses paid stay in a luxury eco-retreat on ‘millionaires row’.
The show is not only getting a new villa but a new host in Bristol's Maya Jama. She is now days away from her Love Island presenting debut, after spending the festive period with family and friends.

ITV2 aired a teaser for fans on New Year’s Day, starring the new host, who has been a long-time fan herself, saying: “I’ve always been such a massive Love Island fan and I’m so excited to be hosting one of the nation’s favourite shows! I can’t wait to get into the Villa to meet all of the Islanders.”
The teaser trailer was captioned “Winter just got a whole lot hotter,” and showed host Maya on a pink quilted bucking bronco saying: “It’s time to grab love by the horns, I’m ready are you?”
While the contestant line up has not been released, viewers can expect some great personalities to enter the villa. The new series will be available to watch from the January 16 on ITV2 as well as available to stream on the new streaming service ITVX.
