Winter is coming, COVID-19 cases are rising: What you need to know

In the last two weeks, in New South Wales, COVID-19 has bounced back and forth from 14,000 to 26,000 cases a day, making a perfect ‘W’ on the graph.

In Victoria, the shape of the trend is the same, a big ‘W’, with cases bouncing from around 6000 to 12,000 new cases a day.
