The winners of the GloucestershireLive Apprenticeship Awards 2022 have been revealed.
The ceremony, held at Kingsholm Stadium in Gloucester on Thursday (September 22), celebrated the best and brightest learners in the county and the companies helping them succeed.
The awards recognised excellence across a wide range of sectors, with the overall GloucestershireLive Apprentice of the Year selected from all the winners on the night of the event. An award for Outstanding Contribution to Apprenticeships in Gloucestershire was also presented at the ceremony, which was hosted by BBC Points West Gloucestershire reporter Steve Knibbs.
“[The evening was] a celebration of the apprentices of Gloucestershire and the incredible work they do every year. The business community wouldn’t be the same without the passion and dedication of the apprentices - so it’s always a joy to be able to celebrate that work,” said Mr Knibbs. “Every year we’re inundated with outstanding nominees - and this year is no different.”
Attendees of the event enjoyed a three-course dinner and had the opportunity to network with local training providers, employers and to celebrate the future of the workforce in Gloucestershire.
GloucestershireLive Business Editor Hannah Baker, who took part in the judging earlier this month, added: “Congratulations to all of this year’s fantastic winners. The competition was tough this year, so all the finalists should also be proud. Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter, and to all our sponsors for supporting this fantastic and important event.”
